In this tour, you will reach 3000 meters by cable car + minibus and see amazing and unique lunar landscapes such as the active summit craters with steam, degassing and small explosions.
In this period the maximum height that can be reached is 2929 meters, for safety reasons.
Once you arrive at the Rifugio sapienza, the Etna South Station, you will get the ticket, the cable car leaves you at 2500 meters and from there there is the Etna bus that takes you to 2750 meters.
On this tour, you can reach 3000m and see astonishing and unique lunar landscapes, active summit craters with steam, volcanic degassing, and small explosions. You will ride a cable car to reach this altitude and get a panoramic view of Etna.
A minibus and a volcanological guide will wait for you at the end of the cable car ride to discover the secrets of Etna
.Afterward, we will explore a lava cave with flashlights and helmets. And before heading to Catania, we will do a small tasting of local products.
